Are the non-medicinal ingredients used in Preparation H products safe?
Yes, the non-medicinal ingredients present in Preparation H products are safe and approved by Health Canada. It is very challenging to formulate without the use of non-medicinal ingredients, which serve to keep the product stable and prevent the various ingredients from interacting. It is our policy to declare all ingredients on the carton.

Are Preparation H products gluten-free and is it safe for people with Celiac Disease to take?
Yes, all Preparation H products are gluten-free and suitable for individuals with Celiac Disease.

Preparation H contains yeast. Will I get a yeast infection if I use the product?
No. The live yeast cell derivative (LYCD) in the product is an extract of Brewer's yeast. LYCD does not contain any live yeast cells. Therefore, there is no association with the development of yeast infections following the use of Preparation H.
